The Android 7.0 Nougat is great but what Pixel has now is even better and that has left some Android users feeling a little left out. Well, the good news is that if you own a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, you will be able to install the Pixel Edition ROM on your device.

The Pixel Edition ROM is said to be stable now so you can try it out. Not only will you be running on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat it will also come with a few new features and updates as well. Some of the feature that you will be getting includes the new Google Assistant, Pixel Launcher and more.

Before you start installing the ROM, you will need to backup all your date just in case something goes wrong. Enable USB debugging and root your device. Install a recovery tool like CWM or TWRP and make sure you have at least 60% of power left in your device.

Start by downloading the ROM here. You will also need to download a Google Apps package. Connect the device to your PC and transfer all the downloaded zip files to your smartphone. Next, turn off the device and enter the Recovery Mode.

Once you are inside, choose to wipe date factory reset, wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache. Now install the zip in your SD card and follow the instructions. Once you install both the ROM and Google Apps, reboot the device by clicking on Reboot system now.
