Models like the Honda Pilot, Jeep Cherokee, Range Rover Evoque and more will be recalled over the problematic ZF transmission.
Customers that bought models with the ZF transmission have been complaining about the transmission for some time now and it looks like their complaints were finally heard as a recall has finally been issued.
Affected models will be those fitted with the 9HP nine-speed auto transmission. According to the report, the improper crimping on the transmission wiring harness might cause the vehicle to shift to neutral unexpectedly.
A total of 505,000 units of vehicles will be affected by this recall. Models that will be affected includes the V6 Acura TLX, Fiat 500X, Chrysler 200, Honda Pilot, Jeep Renegade, Jeep Cherokee, Land Rover Discovery Sport, Range Rover Evoque, and Ram ProMaster City.
Those affected will be getting a software update to get the issues fixed.
