2018 Subaru WRX STI: More Improved Than It Looks

If you were to look at the 2018 Subaru WRX STi, you would think that it is the same model as the one we have now since the exterior looks almost identical but Subaru actually made a lot more changes to both the Subaru WRX and Subaru WRX STi than we think.

Subaru was at the Detroit Auto Show where they showed off the 2018 Subaru WRX and Subaru WRX STi. On the outside, the 2018 model will be getting a minor front fascia update. So minor that most people will not even notice it.

On the inside, one of the more noticeable upgrades includes the new 5.9 inch multifunction display for the base model. The WRX Premium model will be getting a Starlink 7.0 inch display. All models will also be fitted with features like heated wing mirrors. The WRX Limited will also come with a power lumbar adjustable seat.

The suspension and the six-speed manual transmission on the 2018 WRX has also been upgraded. The WX will still be powered by the 2.0 liter engine and the WRX STi will still be running on the 2.5 liter 305hp engine.
