2017 Porsche 911 GTS Will Be Forgiven If Porsche Holds On

There were a lot of unhappy fans when Porsche reveal that the 2017 Porsche 911 GTS was going to come with a turbo engine. While we all know it was going to happen, that does not mean that the fans will be happy with it when the time comes.

The new 2017 Porsche 911 GTS will be fitted with the same engine that Porsche fitted under the hood of the Porsche Carrera S. One the Carrera S, the 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged six cylinder engine was able to offer about 420hp. We still do not know how much the 911 GTS will be offering but it should be more than that.

While some fans might still be unhappy with their decision, they would probably forgive Porsche once they find out that Porsche is willing to hold on to their manual transmission for a little longer.

More and more automakers are looking to do away with the transmission but Porsche will still be offering it on the next 911 GTS.
