2017 MazdaSpeed 3: Why It Will Never Happen

Mazda made it quite clear that they are not working on a new MazdaSpeed 3 or 6 right now and while some fans are still hoping that Mazda would change their mind, we think that it is not going to happen. Here’s why.

The MazdaSpeed models made sense in the past when Mazda was all about attracting the younger buyers. They need vehicles that are fun and affordable but that is no longer their goal now.

Mazda is now working to turn their name into a premium name and if that is where they want to go in the future, the MazdaSpeed 3 and MazdaSpeed 6 will not make sense at all.

Some fans were hoping that the new Mazdaspeed model would come running on the new Mazda CX-9 engine that Mazda showed off last year. Do you think there is still a place for the MazdaSpeed models in the market right now?
