The new Mazda CX-5 will not only come with an upgraded design but it will also come with an upgraded engine. In fact, the 2017 model will also come with a diesel engine option. With all the upgrades that the Mazda CX-5, how much do you think the 2017 will cost?
Mazda has yet to announce the retail price here in the US but they did announce the price of the Japanese model. According to Mazda, the base Mazda CX-5 will be sold for 2,462,400 yen which is about $20,800.
They also reveal that the 2017 Mazda CX-5 will be coming in with some additional safety features like brake support and Advance Smart City.
Under the hood is a 2.0 liter SkyActiv-G engine that will be offering about 155PS and 196Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. There is also a 2.5-liter engine and a 2.2liter diesel engine.
