2017 Toyota Highlander vs GMC Acadia: Space vs Versatility

One of the reasons why the GMC Acadia is so popular is because it offers their customers tons of interior space. The Acadia can seat up to eight people. The Toyota Highlander, on the other hand, is not as spacious as the Acadia but it is more versatile.

Interior space aside, the GMC Acadia will come running on a 2.5 liter I-4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will push out about 190hp and 190lb ft of torque. The Acadia EPA rating is rated at 21mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway.

The Toyota Highlander, on the other hand, will come with a 2.7 liter inline 4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will be offering about 185hp and 184lb ft of torque ad will return about 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway.

The GMC Acadia will come with a $30,820 price tag while the Toyota Highlander will retail for $27,837.
