2016 Ford Falcon: End Of An Era

In case you have not heard of it, Ford is ending the production of the Ford Falcon and the last of the Falcom sedan will be rolling its way down the production line this week. That will be the end of the Ford Falcon.

The Ford Falcon sedan have been around for a long time, about 56years and while it has been losing its position in the market, it is still sad to see such an iconic model leave. The Falcom were never offered here in the US but it was one of the top selling cars in Australia in the past.

The final Falcon before it all ended was the FGX Series model. The vehicle came with a few engine options including the 2.0 liter inline-four turbocharged engine, a 4.0 liter inline six engine, a 4.0 liter inline six lpg engine, a 4.0-liter turbo engine as well as a 5.0 liter V8 supercharged engine.

With the Falcon missing, Ford will be offering the Mondeo and Mustang to fill in the gap.
