2015 Honda HRV Crossover Fit Is The Illusion

Honda is currently producing a coupe variant of the Fit and it will be known as the HRV Crossover Fit. The hatchback was already unveiled earlier this year and it truly looks stunning, although, there are some worries in terms of comfort.

To go into detail, the HRV Crossover Fit is to come with a curvy roof and a bullet-style structure. The downside to this is that space at the rear seats are reduced by a mall percentage. The curvy roof somehow eliminates some headroom. On the upside of things, Honda is able to maintain the same legroom measurement. This was made possible by sacrificing some of the cargo space.

Even so, consumers shouldn’t mistake it for a pure breed 2-door coupe. The Honda HRV Crossver Fit actually comes with 4 doors. The rear doors are made to appear invisible through hiding the doors’ outlines and handles. It can only be noticed when the hatchback is inspected up-close.

Unfortunately, Honda didn’t share on the sort of engine that will power the HRV Crossover Fit. However, the Japanese carmaker did highlight that a CVT transmission will be offered as a standard, thus, suggesting the vehicle to be fuel economical. The car will also be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox to appeal the thrill seekers too.

All in all, the Honda HRV Crossover Fit is going to be one of the hottest vehicles to arrive next year. Consumers can expect it to retail with an opening price of $16,000. Prices are also expected to stretch all the way up to $21,000.
