Resident Evil 7 Can Wait As A Remake Could Suffice

The Resident Evil series first started in late 90s and it was a major success back then. This is thanks to the horror aspect of the game which has appealed the players. Ever since the first trilogy ended, the horror element has been on a constant decline as the series shifted to a more action-based gameplay.

The latest Resident Evil 6 is a great example of that change and the fans are fuming in rage. The huge fan-base is clearly not happy with this change in direction. Since Capcom has no idea on what horror means anymore, the Resident Evil community are calling for a remake of the first trilogy.

In the age of digital gaming, most games today are longwinded and require a lot of game time to complete. As such, fans suggests for Capcom to re-create the first three Resident Evil games and make it into one.

However, not everything about the first three titles is perfect in its own way. It seems that there are elements from the latest Resident Evil that can improve the gameplay for the older titles.

One example is the weapons equip and upgrade system seen in Resident Evil 5. It proved to be a major convenience to the players. Even the latest Resident Evil 6 has a great gameplay mechanics and the fans wouldn’t mind seeing all of these in the first trilogy remake.

The icing on the cake would definitely be with Sony’s PS4 Virtual Reality headset. If Resident Evil Remake can utilize this high-tech gaming gadget, then expect an all-out horror experience when playing the game.
