PokeBank Security Filter Not As Stringent As Thought

Nintendo has been very busy over the last two or three weeks with re-releasing its PokeBank. Many players are already getting to grips with this app.

There’s no real reason to clamour for PokeBank, though. It’s a new service, but already there are lots of complaints about hacking, and many Pokemon players are asking the company how this could happen.

The fans thought that Nintendo has sorted out a hack checker, but in fact it was just a legality checker. This checker will stop players importing Pokemon with impossible abilities, move sets, caught levels, locations and shininess, but that’s it.

Fans need to understand this fact before they go steaming in with a complaint, but they also need to ask Nintendo to make the PokeBank more secure. The fact that the app was unsecure to start with is quite wrong and the studio needs to sort this!
