ZTE did the unexpected when they announce their CSX Project. The goal of the project was to create a smartphone that the consumers designed themselves. ZTE announce that they will be engaging with their consumers throughout the development process to build the device that the consumers want.
If the ideas are picked up, the person that suggested it will get $1500 from ZTE. Well, that smartphone has a name now, the crowd source smartphone will be called ZTE Hawkeye. As of now, it is believe that the device will come with a 5.5inch FHD display with Hi-Fo audio, dual rear camera, fingerprint sensor, larger batteries, expandable storage and it will run on the Nougat OS. Consumers can pre-order it from $199 on Kickstarter right now.
ZTE was also at CES where they announce that their ZTE Blade V8 Pro will be heading to the US. The 5.5 FHD device will come with a Snapdragon 625 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It will be fitted with a dual 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
