Volkswagen did hint that might be thinking about coming out with a new compact model when they showed off the T-Roc concept in 2014. It is now believed that Volkswagen will be building a new production model based on that concept and that the concept will be called the Volkswagen T-Cross.
If Volkswagen does come out with a production model, the new compact crossover will most likely come in to compete with top compact crossover models like the Nissan Juke and Mazda CX-3.
The new Volkswagen T-Cross will be coming in to sit below the Volkswagen Tiguan and Volkswagen Touareg. According to Autocar, the new Volkswagen T-Cross’s production will be starting in 2018.
There is not a lot of details about what the T-Cross will offer but at least, we know roughly how it will look like. Check out the T-Roc concept and tell us what you would like them to keep.
