Apple Watch 2: Prepare For An Earlier Arrival

We know that Apple will be coming out with the successor for the Apple Watch this year but it was initially predicted that the smartwatch would only be arriving later this year in September.

However, according to DigiTimes, the Apple Watch 2 might arrive sooner as the production will be starting in Q2. It is believed that this time, the Apple Watch 2 will be coming in with a FaceTime camera along with a WiFi chip. There were also talks about Apple thinking about redesigning the wristband but we will have to wait and see if that is true or not.

It was also reported that Quanta will be the only one working on the Apple Watch 2 this time. It is believed that Apple will be lowering their sales expectation for the smartwatch after looking at how their first Apple Watch performed in the market.

While the watch was far from being a failure, the sales numbers were way lower than what Apple had predicted.
