When Samsung announce that it will start releasing updates to stop all Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices out there from charging starting from the 19th of December, Verizon rebuffed their announcement by saying that they will not be doing it.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 users thought that Verizon is on their side but that is not the case. It is clear now that Verizon did not have any issue with releasing the update but they did not want to do it on the 19th of December.
According to Verizon, they wanted the users the enjoy their holiday and not be stuck without a phone. While the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 7 users were able to enjoy their device during the Holiday season, Verizon has made it clear now that the update will still be release.
The bricking update for Verizon users will be release on the 5th of January so charge up your Note 7 because it will be the last time you will be able to charge it up.
