Samsung has already released the Galaxy S5 and Note 4. Both smartphones are categorized as high-end devices, which also mean that they are too costly to own. On the other hand, consumers can get it for a cheap if they are to sell their Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or S4.
However, it is not possible to do so if the devices being traded in are carrier-locked. Today, we are going to share the unlock code for the Note 3 and S4, which is safe and simple to apply on your own. Doing so will free the devices from being carrier-locked, thus ensuring maximum value when trading in the smartphones. Furthermore, users can use SIM cards from other carriers without any issue.
Here is a short guide on how to apply the unlock code:
One: Insert a new SIM card into your Galaxy Note 3 or Galaxy S4.
Two: Turn off your device then turn it back on again.
Three: Head to the dialpad and enter in *#197328640#.
Four: Choose UMTS > Debug Screen > Phone Control > Network Lock > Options Perso SHA256 OFF.
Five: Wait for 30 seconds or so before heading back into the main menu by choosing “back”.
Six: In your main menu, you’ll see “Network Lock”, so now choose NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ
By now, your device should be unlocked. On another note, the code is revealed to work on other Samsung smartphones as well.
