We are at the start of 2015 and this year will see many new great smartphones getting released. Before that happens, let us take a look at 5 of the best smartphones from last year. The smartphones are selected based on our ratings on them and they are as follow:
1. Apple iPhone 6
There is no list of great smartphones without the iPhone in them. The iPhone 6 was launched back in September last year and it comes with a more powerful processor, a bigger screen and tons of new features to offer.
2. Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
We would love to name the Z3 as part of this list but have decided to opt for the Z3 Compact instead. This is due to its size which enables one hand use while also coming with high-end specs. Most other smaller variant of a flagship device ends up with below-par specs.
3. Samsung Galaxy Note 4
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is an automatic entry in this list not only because of its powerful hardwares, but also due to the fact that it has tons of features to offer. The Note 4 can be said as a large Samsung Galaxy S5 but with more perks to offer.
4. HTC One M8
The HTC One M8 came out early last year and it does not have an impressive spec sheet. However, none can deny that the One M8 is truly the most beautiful smartphone in history.
5. Google Nexus 6
To complete this list, we have decided to name the Nexus 6 because it is simply a benchmark for all future Android devices. Aside from the fact that the Nexus 6 is built to be a premium smartphone, it comes with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop which is pending to arrive on other Android devices.
