It has finally been confirmed. Beginning next week, Sony will be launching the highly anticipated Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Xperia Z3 and the week following that will see the update reaching out to the Xperia Z2.
The confirmation was made by Australia’s carrier, Vodafone. The telco basically shared that the Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Xperia Z-series will begin launching in the Oceana region before reaching out to other regions in the world.
In Oceana, Australia will look to receive the update first before it gets to New Zealand and the others. Vodafone shared that they had just received the Lollipop ROM and are currently running some tests with it.
