PS4: Sony Doesn’t Want Your Buggy Consoles!

The PS4 is finally out in stores and many are chuckling upon unboxing the console. What seems like a serious moment turns out to be a humorous occasion. Sometimes there could be defects on the device that require it to be returned to its manufacturer. Inside the PS4 box, there is a proper instruction on how to perform such a procedure along with its requirements.

Reddit’s I_Regularly_Lurk took a look at the service pre-packing checklist, something not ordinary caught his attention. Going through the list, it states there Do Not Pack Discs, Controllers and Cables when returning the defect console. There is also another Do Not which is “Insect Infested Consoles” with a cockroach looking symbol there. So if you’re PS4 is housing any of these creatures, kindly remove them.

This is something new which cannot be found on the console’s predecessors. Could it be that insects were sent to Sony during the days of the PS3? If the symbol made its way there, it must be of some importance.

With that said, Sony has made it clear that don’t want you’re buggy consoles. So if you’ve encountered any bugs on the PS4, call the pest control not Sony.
