Samsung Galaxy Note 7 might want to watch where they bring their smartphone to as they might be committing a federal crime without even knowing about it.
The US Department of Transportation has announced that they will be banning all Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones from airplanes. It does not matter if you if switch it off or not, the device is not allowed on board.
You won’t be allowed to carry it with you or have it in your checked baggage. Those who fail to comply will be subjected to civil penalties and could get fined for up to $179,933 or imprisonment of up to ten years or both.
Samsung was forced to issue a second recall for their Samsung Galaxy Note 7 after it reports of the replacement device exploding surface. We do not know if Samsung still plans to relaunch the device once more or not.
