New devices like the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy Note 7 now comes with WiFi calling features but older devices like the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + did not come with the feature until now.
AT&T has announced that they will be offering the WiFi Calling support to a few Samsung smartphones. The smartphones that will be getting the software update will include the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + as well as the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
The features will come in with the September security update for Android although Android Police also pointed out that not all smartphone will be getting it at the same time.
The update will start rolling out over the air on the 20th of September. The new WiFi Calling feature will allow users to voice call and text using their WiFi connection.
