Last November saw Google launching the all-new Android 5.0 Lollipop. We are already closing in on February and Samsung is still pending to launch the latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update for its existing devices.
While Samsung has yet to shed any light on the matter, an internal email has been leaked out by a Samsung employee and it revealed that employees are to prepare themselves to launch the Android 5.0.2 update next week.
The email also revealed that the update is to start off with the Samsung galaxy S5 first before reaching out to the newer Samsung Galaxy Note 4. On a final note, the email shared that Samsung is working closely with the carriers so that they can launch the update simultaneously.
While it all sounds exciting for Samsung users, it is still best to take the above with a pinch of salt. After all, there is no way to prove the legitimacy of the email. Then again, with rival companies already rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, there is a chance for the email to be true.
