The iPhone 5s having been recently released is making quite a name for itself. While it seems that Apple and Samsung will never get along, let see if the Korean-based vendor’s Galaxy S4 still able to ‘shoo’ away the iPhone 5s.
In terms of performance, the iPhone 5s brags on its new Apple’s A7 64 bit processor whereas the S4 UK’s specs boast a 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600. Both fared superbly. Kudos to the S4, for being able to handle even the heaviest of tasks without signs of breaking down. It is a straight out tie for both devices.
Where display is concerned, the iPhone 5s recycled the retina display from the iPhone 5. It was a wonderful display when first introduced to the world. However, when compared to the S4’s 5 inches super Amoled 1920×1080 441ppi display, it is just not good enough. A definite win for the S4.
Build for both phones plays a role to consumers. While the Apple 5s maintain its built quality, the S4 kept its trademark polycarbonate material giving that really cheap feel and look. However, it is much more comfortable to hold the S4 thanks to its curve. In spite of that, it is still not enough giving the victory to iPhone 5s.
The final contest revolves around the battery of both devices. After running a couple of test on the battery life of both phones, iPhone 5s manage to last longer. The test involves playing a loop of videos on auto brightness until the battery dies. While the Samsung S4 has been reviewed to have a stronger battery life with its 2600 mAh capacity, the iPhone does better. Another win for the iPhone 5s.
All in all, the two devices fared well in an amazingly tight contest. While the Samsung Galaxy S4 got released early in the year, it still packs quite the punch. Credits to the newer iPhone 5s for the victory.
