2015 will be commencing in less than a week’s time and it will be a year full of greatness for the smartphone industry. The rumour mill is already in motion as it starts buzzing on various devices that are expected to come next year.
Among them is the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, which is said to be a magnitude better than the current offering. After facing a serious challenge in the shape of the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, rumours are suggesting that Samsung will go all out to improve on the Note series with the Note 5.
The phablet is said to come with UHD resolution where the figures stand at 3840 x 2160p. The screen size too will be larger, measuring at approximately 5.9”. This will be powered by the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip, or a newer yet to be confirmed chipset model. What is for certain is that the processor will be of the 64-bit family.
Also, the Note 5 will enjoy ultra-fast speed thanks to the 4GB RAM that will feature with it. In addition to that, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will offer microSD support as it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
Of course, the above are still based on rumours and it is best to take it with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, consumers can expect the final product to be close to the rumours, just like how it has been for previous Galaxy Note smartphones. What is for certain is that the Note 5 will be released in September 2015.
