We have heard that Apple could launch their first curved display on the iPhone in Q3 of 2014.
LG and Samsung have both launched a phone with a curved display; these are the Samsung Galaxy Round and LG G Flex. Now it could be the turn of Apple says Trusted Reviews and they could launch two iPhones with curved displays.
Bloomberg said that Apple has two devices to release in the second half of next year, with bigger screens and curved edges to the glass. This was said to come from someone that familiar with plans of theirs.
It is though that the glass will come with a downward curve as opposed to the upward one that was recently seen on the Samsung Galaxy Round.
It has also been said that Apple could be at work on displays of 4.7 and 5 inches.
We have also heard that Apple has been working on a new touchscreen sensor for their devices that should be able to tell the difference between someone touching it lightly and hard.
Of course Apple could do with shaking things up a little as they have received some stick over the iPhone 5c being an iPhone 5 in disguise with a slightly cheaper price tag. So perhaps they will break into devices with larger and curved displays to once again catch up with the competition and do what other phone makers have done this year. So once again they would be behind.
