PS4 vs Xbox One: Xbox Takes Another Major Beating

Last November saw the arrivals of the Sony PS4 and the Xbox One. Ever since then, both next-gen consoles have been at war with each other. This is not surprising as the Xbox brand has been the PS biggest rival in the gaming industry.

On the down side however, the battle between the PS4 and the Xbox One is not even a contest to begin with. Tech reviewers have confirmed that the PS4 is the stronger of the two and it has outsold the Xbox by a huge margin.

Market analysts predicted that the Xbox One will be making a comeback from a slow start but it has failed to happen. The sales chart for both consoles have been monitored on a monthly basis and the PS4 kept on increasing the sales gap with its rival.

All hopes for the Xbox One seems lost since March this year as the PS4 recorded more than 50% in sales. The Xbox One only secured 433,940 units sold for that month. Things got worse in April when 579,850 units of PS4 got sold. This totally outnumbered the 335,101 units of the Xbox One.

The trend repeated itself in May, even though last month was the worst sales period for the PS4. 577,092 PS4 was sold. This is so much more than the 178,481 Xbox One units sold.

At this rate, the Xbox One might just throw the white towel early as there is little to no hope of making a comeback at all. Sony has certainly got it right with the PS4 and Microsoft has only themselves to blame for failing to keep up with the gaming demands of the masses.
