When news about Nintendo working on a new console started surfacing, everybody thought that Nintendo was going to come out with a new console that is as powerful as the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 but details of the Switch console suggest that it will not be as power as the other two consoles. So what can Nintendo use to lure the consumers in?
According to Nikkei, a Japanese news outlet, the new Nintendo Switch console will retail at ¥25,000. Based on the current exchange rate, it should cost about $213 but most people believe that Nintendo will around it up to $250 when it is release here in the US.
Compared to what Sony and Microsoft are asking for, the $250 for the Nintendo Switch is surprising. If the rumors are true, the Nintendo Switch could be the cheapest console in the market right now.
On top of that, the fact that the Nintendo Switch console is also a portable device is only going to make it more attractive.
