We know that Hyundai is still working to make their fuel cell engine work and now reports are suggesting that they will be releasing the second generation fuel cell SUVs next year and that the new fuel cell SUV will be offering a lot more range than the Toyota Mirai.
According to Nikkei, the new fuel cell SUVs will be arriving in January next year and that they will be able to offer a range of 348miles when it arrives. While the 348miles is still lower tan what the Honda Clarity fuel cell model is offering right now, it does top the 312miles Toyota Mirai. It is believed that the new fuel cell model will come in with a $50,000 price tag.
Hyundai is not messing around when it comes to producing greener cars or the future. There new all-electric Hyundai Ioniq will also be arriving in the US next year.
