Motorola’s Mot X, Droid Ultra, Maxx and Mini are all called upon to receive the Android 4.4 KitKat updates. The company put a sigh of relief on its users thus ensuring that they don’t get left out in technological upgrades. Motorola reached out to its users to not worry anymore as the company is ‘on it’.
Other devices like the Droid RAZR HD, RAZR Maxx HD, RAZR M, the Atrix HD and the Photon Q LTE are all being evaluated at the moment if the mentioned devices are eligible to get the KitKat. These models are mentioned as “future plan” on the company’s website.
Motorola’s Vice president, Punit Soni revealed that the update will be released faster than previous rollouts. However, no timeframe was revealed.
While rival phone-maker HTC are quick to announce the rollouts of the KitKat on its flagship HTC One, Motorola’s announcement suggest that the company will also take part in the race.
