Mass Effect fans have taken to Reddit to tell us what they want in Mass Effect 4. It’s a lengthy list, now that BioWare has confirmed it’s developing the game.
Gamers want Mass Effect 4 to be a sequel rather than a prequel. The destruction ending could be used as a jump-off point, without telling us if Shepard lived or died.
They’d also like the main character to be human, Krogan, Salarian, Asari or Quarian, but not Krogan or Quarian of the players’ Mass Effect save file has them listed as dead when harking back to the old series. Fans on Reddit chimed in by saying that Mass Effect 4 might focus on a non-human race.
The players just want a good hateable villain, as well as some romance, as per the sci-fi game tradition.
Some fans have suggested that there be more playable races in Mass Effect 4, so BioWare might give gamers the option of playing two or three different peoples. The characters should be more substantial, and there should be more social aspects to the game.
However, this will take a lot of time and effort on BioWare’s part.
These are just a few suggestions from fans. We’ve heard that Mass Effect 4 is still at the beta stage, so we’re hoping that the company is listening.
