Disney has made it clear that the reason they decided to kill off the Marvel Avengers Alliance game because the game was not doing as well as they thought it would and that they would rather spend their time on some other better projects.
While it is true that the sequel of Marvel: Avengers Alliance did not so well as the first game, there is still a fair amount of fans that are still enjoying the game. Some fans think that because the game wasn’t as popular as Disney thought it would, Disney wants to get rid of it now so that they can work on a new Avengers game.
Disney fans have not been too happy with Disney recently as they seem to be killing off games without any real reason. The biggest upset was when Disney announce that they were going to kill off the popular Disney Infinity game. Many fans did not understand why Disney decided to end the game since it was still very popular.
Some believe that Disney is killing off all their games because they want to step away from game developing and is looking to focus only on licensing them.
