While Nexus users were all enjoying the new Android 7.0 Nougat. The rest of the Android users are still stuck with the Marshmallow waiting for the Nougat to arrive. Well, good news for those using the LG G5 as it looks like they might be the first few Android to get the Nougat update.
Optus, an Australian carrier has just confirmed that the LG G5 will be getting the Android Nougat update in the coming weeks which means the LG G5 could be getting the update faster than their premium Android smartphones in the market.
There were already talks about LG testing the software out in South Korea which means the software update could be ready real soon. LG is known for being one of the fast manufacturers to roll out their software updates. There new LG V20 will come running on the Nougat OS.
Hopefully, the rest of the Android device will be getting the update soon.
