Last month, Google launched the all-new Android 5.0 Lollipop that comes together with the Nexus 6 smartphone. Ever since then, phone manufacturers worldwide have been busy tweaking the firmware as they prepare to update their respective devices.
For LG, it didn’t take the company long to ready the Android 5.0 Lollipop for the G3. It was announced earlier today that the mobile OS is now available for the LG G3 Play Store Edition. LG further revealed that the update was pushed out OTA at the time of the announcement.
The South Korean tech company also expressed that it desires to launch the update quickly and efficiently to give their users the best smartphone experience in the world. With the Google Play G3 already updated to the Android 5.0 Lollipop, it will only be a matter of time before the OS reaches out to the original LG G3 worldwide.
Unfortunately, LG failed to share on when the Android 5.0 Lollipop will be released to the normal LG G3. However, the company did tease that the update could be ready before the end of this month.
