There is no denying the fact that Sony’s latest PS4 is a phenomenal console. It has specifications which are un-challenged and the console surely managed to take the video gaming experience to a whole new level.
Now, it seems that gamers get more and more submerged into the game they are playing. Take the latest Killzone: Shadow Fall for example. Whenever the player dies, the light stick on the PS4’s controller will turn red.
Now fans of the Kingdom Hearts gaming series are calling Square Enix to add the same feature in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3. This third sequel to the highly successful franchise has never been short of awesome and with such a feature, the gaming experience will certainly be enhanced.
The game developer could perhaps make the light glow green whenever Sora’s health is full and flashing red when the protagonist’s health is low. As a matter of fact, Square Enix can do one better by adding in more interactivity with the PlayStation Eye. Perhaps, players can use their voice to switch characters. The vacant button on the controller can be used for something else instead.
All in all, the next-gen effect will certainly touch on every games in the future. Kingdom Hearts 3 should be the biggest title when it gets released and if so, Square Enix should take the opportunity to re-define the term “big”.
