Yes, There Is Now An iOS 7.1 Jailbreak Available But Hang On

When Apple first released the iPhone back in 2007, it gave birth to a many jailbreakers. Most of these hackers have been making a name for themselves ever since. Just months ago, the team called Evad3rs, rolled out the jailbreak for iOS 7. Now, things have spiced up to a whole new level.

Recently, Apple unveiled the latest iOS 7.1 and it came with plenty of improvements and brand new features like the Car Play function. On top of that, it came with many security fixes which was revealed to make cracking the iOS an impossible task.

Apple even shot an arrow at the jailbreak community by thanking Evad3rs for pointing out the security flaws with the iOS 7. However, Apple’s words soon backfired on itself.

Soon after the announcement was made, a jailbreaker known as Winocm uploaded a video on YouTube which demonstrates an untethered iOS 7.1 operating on an iPhone 4S. The self-made video was promoted on the hacker’s Twitter account.

Of course, the move made by Winocm was meant to shut Apple up. The full iOS 7.1 jailbreak is still unavailable for the public to download. Nevertheless, it is still a welcoming sight to see that the hackers are still able to infiltrate the iOS. There is no telling on what the hackers are capable of.

On top of that, the jailbreak was done on the iPhone 4 which runs on the A4 processor. Things will definitely be harder for the A5, A6 and the A7 processor iPhones. In spite of that, iH8sn0w revealed that he has already done the A5 iOS 7.1 jailbreaks.

All in all, it is best to avoid updating your iPhone if you want to continue enjoying the perks of a jailbroken iOS. The signs might be great but until the official jailbreak gets released, it is best to wait for it.
