If you ask me, the smartwatch that I am definitely looking forward to own is the Kairos steampunk watches. They are mechanical watches that have a retro look but it is packed with all the latest technology around.
The manufacturer specifically revealed two modes for its watches. There is the mechanical watch mode and the digital smartwatch mode. Each part is powered separately with the former being moved by kinetic energy and the latter relying on an 180mAh battery.
Depending on the model, the colour of the watches and its power efficiency isn’t fixed at all. The mechanical part of the SSW 158 can last up to 2 days without charging and the battery can last of up to 7 days.
The notifications pop out through the watches’ OLED display that is transparent. It will be tweaked to 40% transparency and will have touchscreen capabilities. This is some new tech going on and it is not going ot be cheap.
The watches can be pre-ordered on their website with the entry level MSW 115 being priced at $499.The SSW 158 Gold costs $1,199 and the Black edition is the most expansive of all. Still, it is one classy product and is worth every cent.
