Age Of Empires Online: Sayonara!

When it comes to real-time strategy games, Age of Empires is among the biggest franchise around. The series has been through thick and thin for a long time now and it seems that another chapter has come to a close.

Last week, Age of Empires Online came to end when Steam ceased the game entirely from their servers. While this is due to the game’s aging factor, some fans are really annoyed by the decision. For these fans, they have spent so much money and time on the game and it really hurts to see it end without any prior notice.

Age of Empires Online has a unique art style and multiple game modes that stretch from skirmish, co-op to the classic death matches.

Despite that fact, most fans are not moved by it. This is due to the installation, which has been a real pain for the players. The game kept on requesting for the product key when it is supposed to be free.

Nevertheless, Age of Empires Online has certainly done its part to the gaming industry and it will probably be replaced by the latest, Age of Empires 3. Then again, nothing can beat the classic gameplay on Age of Empires Online.
