It looks like Jeep will be joining the dark side after all. Jeep will be at the Los Angelas Auto Show showing off two new trims for the Jeep Renegade this year.
The first trim will be the Altitude, a blacked out version of the Jeep Renegade. The Altitude will be coming in with a long list of upgraded Gloss Black features including the 18inch wheels, grille rings, taillamp surrounds, badging and more. Customers will get to choose from a whole range of exterior color but the interior will only come in black.
Under the hood will be a 1.4 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will be mated to a six speed manual transmission and will be offering about 160hp. There is also a 2.4 liter four cylinder engine option that will come with a nine-speed transmission. The new Altitude will be based on the Latitude and will also come with additional features like a rearview camera as well as proximity key with push-button start.
The other trim that Jeep will be showing off the Jeep Renegade Deserthawk.
