iPhone 6 Prototype Deposits $11,100 In The Bank!

Just recently, we reported on an iPhone 6 that was selling for a whopping $100,000 on eBay. It was understood that the iPhone 6 wasn’t an ordinary device since it is running on developer’s software that was used internally by Apple.

Unfortunately, the seller, Alex, took down the ad and changed his mind about the iPhone 6. The lad revealed that Apple has contacted him and tried to talk him out of selling the iPhone 6. The Cupertino-based company claims that the phone is not a prototype but rather a device that went through the manufacturing process and was never completed.

Everything about the iPhone 6 purchased by Alex seems wrong. It does not run on the latest iOS 8, it has a red charging port and there is no FCC to begin with.

Apple then made Alex an offer where he can exchange the device with either the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus. However, Alex turned them down and yesterday, put the ad back on eBay again.

The good news is that the iPhone 6 prototype is already sold. The bad news is that Alex didn’t get $100K for it. Instead, he managed to bag a $11,100, which is also a big earning as well. Apple may have tried to behave calmly but we are pretty sure that the device is really important to them.
