We recently saw the release of the Nexus 5 and the handset is superb, but then there are many other great handsets on the market, so how does it stand up to the competition?
When considering how it stands up to other handsets on the market you do have to take into account that Nexus devices were designed by Google to show off any new features of Android. However at the same time the handset is what other device makers have to match. We saw the Nexus One arrive and it put all other handsets in the shade. With successive handsets they brought something new, this was such as NFC. When the Nexus 5 came out it brought with it KitKat 4.4 and this made it stand out from all other devices.
There is a great deal more to the Nexus 5 than software and the handset does have a superb processor, a great camera and some hardware that is solid. The device does come with a price tag that others cannot beat. MobileBurn put the device up against the LG G2, iPhone 5, HTC One, Moto X, Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
The Google Nexus 5 does happen to be a great device, however it is one that you are going to love or you will hate.
