iPhone 4S owners are bemoaning the loss of battery life following the update to iOS 7. iPhone 5 owners seem to have got away with it in the main, with few complaints.
This issue isn’t hardware-related, as the batteries on the iPhone 4S were fine on iOS 6. Not all 4S handsets are affected, though. It seems random, but some people think that it depends on how the update is installed.
The easiest way to cure this problem is to take your phone to the nearest Apple store.
Another cure is to do a clean installation of iOS 7. If you backed up your old iOS 6 in iTunes, revert back to it, then do a clean install of iOS 7. Have a think about the apps you really need as well, as lots of apps can zap your battery.
