Back in 2013, HTC launched the One M7. The device was so popular that even today, there are still many One M7 users around. However, many users are considering dumping the One M7 since HTC is taking forever to launch the highly anticipated Android 5.0 Lollipop to the device.
Well, before One M7 users do so, they might want to head over to XDA. This is because an XDA developer had just produced the Liquid Smooth ROM. This particular ROM basically contains the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and it is designed specifically for the One M7.
There is no need to worry about losing the device warranty since the One M7 is almost 2 years old now. What is important is for the users to enjoy the Lollipop experience on the One M7 and the only way for it is with the LS ROM.
Of course, users need to root their One M7 first before proceeding with the LS ROM. Also, do make sure that the One M7 is fully backed up and it must have at least 80% battery life to avoid any disruptions during installation.
The LS ROM over at XDA comes together with the necessary Google Apps Package and there, users can also find the installation instructions which are easy to follow.
