This year alone, there have been many leaks of Half Life 3 surfacing on the internet and this strongly suggests that Valve is going to announce on the highly anticipated title very soon.
Many fans expected it to happen at GDC but unfortunately, it didn’t. This cannot be helped since GDC is categorized as a tech event and while Valve did participated at the exhibition, they only do so to discuss on the progress they are making with Steam and VR headsets.
Valve made no reveals on future gaming titles at all. This definitely caused a big upset within the Half Life community but one that is well-expected.
Fans of Half Life series should get over themselves since Half Life 3 is never meant to get announced at GDC. The game is bound to create a global phenomenon and a title of such calibre deserves a big stage to get announced.
When we say big, only one event comes to mind and that is E3. E3 will be returning next week and Valve has confirmed their participation at the event. Now, all that is left is for the fans to hope Half Life 3 get announced then.
