There is a strong anticipation for Half Life 3 over the past decade but Valve is still pending to make any official announcements on the game. Even so, the game developer didn’t deny Half Life 3 coming at all.
In other words, Half Life 3’s coming is inevitable and this is further proven by the co-founder of Valve, Gabe Newell via his last major interview. The lad, who is also behind the development of the Half Life franchise, simply share that Half Life 3 is not in development.
In detail, Gabe started off by acknowledging the strong anticipation for Half Life 3 before revealing that the sequel is not in production at the moment. This means that Half Life 3 won’t be coming in the near future.
Even so, Gabe didn’t deny that Half Life 3 is not in plans to get produced. As such, the game’s release is still imminent. Then again, it also means more waiting for Half Life 3.
