Google’s Project Ara Ends Before Seeing The Light?

We have not heard from Google yet but there are already a few reports suggesting that Google might have already axed Project Ara, the modular smartphone.

There were already some speculations about the project not seeing the light after a few delays and setback. The last we heard from Google, the Project Ara was supposed to be released to the developers by the end of this year.

It is believed that Rick Osterloh joining Google might have something to do with the axing of Project Ara as some believe Osterloh did not think the modular phone was going to work and that they want to focus on the new Pixel line right now.

However, it might not be the end of the modular device just yet as some believe Google might find a hardware maker that would be willing to take over from where they left off. Let’s keep our fingers cross.
