There was new rumor suggesting that HTC might be shutting down their smartphone business early next year. If that is the case, not only will we stop seeing any more new HTC smartphone but it would also be the end for the Google Pixel and Pixel XL since HTC is the one building them right now.
We know that the new HTC smartphones have not been doing well lately and that HTC has been trying to branch out to make VR headsets and more. That is why many people actually believed it when rumors suggesting that HTC was looking to shut down their smartphone business surface.
However, HTC has since stepped out to make it clear that they are not shutting down their smartphone business. They also added that the rumors are false.
Well, that means we should be seeing more HTC smartphones in the future.
