The thought of LG being at work on both the Nexus 6 and the smartwatch is not too remote as after all they do have the template for the Nexus 6 in the shape of the LG G Pro 2.
LG and Google have been working side by side on the Nexus watch since late last year and this means they have had plenty of time already working on it.
Everything could be in place for the Nexus smartwatch and the Nexus 6 to make their way out onto the market. The smartwatch is thought to have access to a lot of the Google Now features, without having the need to take the phone out of the pocket.
It has also been said that the smartwatch will work with a mobile handset, while the core features of it do point to it being used as a stand-alone. The wearable device is said to be able to function on its own and be able to undertake tasks such as displaying images in high resolution.
We also heard that Google may combine the Nexus and Google Play Edition model for the smartwatch. Other companies could also produce smartwatches, along similar lines to how the Nexus phone is.
So the Nexus 6 and Nexus smartwatch release dates could see the pair going live through Google Play Store on 24 June. It is thought that they could be delivered around the first week of July this year.
