While it was nice of Google to offer the Android Auto to all of their Android users, the missing OK Google feature meant that users will have to manually tap on the microphone to get the app to response to their command.
That won’t be an issue if the passenger was the one giving the command for it can be a little dangerous for the driver to shift their eyes from the road to search for the microphone button.
Luckily, Google has now announced that the Android Auto will come with the OK Google feature now which means users can shout out their command to the system without having to click on the microphone button. To use the new OK Google feature, go to Settings > Voice > “OK Google Detection”.
The Android Auto will allow all Android users to use the Android Auto in their car by connecting it to the car display or docking the smartphone and using it as your display.
