When it was revealed that the new Google Assistant feature will no longer be tied to the Pixel devices alone, some people were hoping that Google would also release the feature for the Android tablets as well but it has now been confirming that the Android-powered tablets will not be getting the feature.
According to Android Police, the Google Assistant will not be available for the tablets even though it will be available on devices that run on the Marshmallow and Nougat with Google Play Services.
However, you should no lose hope yet as the statement was about the first rollout of the feature which happened on the 2nd of March. There is still a possibility that the feature might be offered on the tablet in the future.
The Google Assistant was one of Pixel’s key attraction and fans were bummed when Google first suggest that it was going to be an exclusive feature.
