Humans are a sucker for anything mysterious. Flappy Bird’s creator has fallen victim to this poor human behaviour with all the rumours and speculations made about him. Before it gets exaggerated any further, Dong Nguyen finally did a major interview and revealed why he pulled out Flappy Bird.
For a start, the Vietnamese lad was shocked that his creation became a trend worldwide. The world admitted that Flappy Bird is as addictive as it gets. As such, Dong revealed that his life is not comfortable anymore and he couldn’t get a good night sleep.
It was a surprising move by Dong when he halted Flappy Bird. After all, the lad is sitting on an income that rewards it $50,000 in ad-revenue on a daily basis. The lad also dismissed the rumour which suggests him to have used a bot program to increase the popularity of Flappy Bird. It is a cheap tactic and even if he applied it, Apple will do something about it.
In regards to Flappy Bird returning to the App Store, Dong remained quiet on the matter. If Flappy Bird truly has come to an end, then it will forever be dubbed as a one-hit wonder for the Vietnamese lad.
